Recent Community Cleanup in Wellgate resulted in 12 Tonns and 80 Kilo of household rubbish removed from residents homes
The cleanup was organised by Local councillors Boston Castle Ward Mahroof Hussain, Peter Wootton and Rose McNeely and supported by Local MP D
enis Macshane. Funding for the cleanup was from Rotherham South Area Assembly Devolved Budget.
Councillor Hussain said "It was another example of our Cleaner, Greener and Safer pledge as local councillors. Local residents working together to get rid of household rubbish which could have ended up on our street, Area Assembly devolverd budgets have allowed us to have yearly cleanup for the community".
