GP Surgery hold Macmillan Cancer Coffee Morning

Canklow Road GP Surgery in Rotherham opened its doors to local people to pop in and have coffee and cake as part of the Macmillan World Biggest Coffee Morning.

Macmillan hold the event every year to highlight their the impact of cancer on people and what support they provide. There are currently 2 million people living with cancer in the UK, by 2030 there will be 4 million. When you get cancer it's probably the toughest fight of your life and you need a team of dedicated inspiring people helping you. Macmillan provide the practical support needed to help in very difficult times.

Councillor Mahroof Hussain said "The work Macmillan does for for cancer sufferers is exceptional. they provide medical, emotional and financial assistance at a very critical time in a persons life. I am so pleased and proud to support the Macmillan World Biggest Coffee Morning."
